Core Framework Scripts
ESX 1.10+ remains the most popular framework with thousands of compatible resources and the largest community. QBCore v2 is the modern alternative — faster, lighter Lua with a growing ecosystem. OX Core is the newest contender built for performance with TypeScript support. Recommendation: ESX for maximum compatibility, QBCore for performance, OX Core if building from scratch. All three work on our FiveM plans — the framework choice depends on your resource preferences.
Inventory & Item Management
OX Inventory is the current best-in-class: modern UI, weight system, durability tracking, metadata support, crafting integration, and works with both ESX and QBCore. QB-Inventory is QBCore's native solution — solid but less featured. ESX Inventory (Legacy) is outdated and not recommended for new servers. Whatever you choose, OX Inventory gives you the best player experience. Install it early — migrating inventories later is painful and can cause item loss.
Police & Emergency Services
QB-PoliceJob (QBCore) and ESX PoliceJob provide comprehensive law enforcement: evidence lockers, armories, MDT tablets, radio systems, and rank management. wasabi_radio is the best communication script — clean UI, channels, and whisper. Codewalker's MDT is the modern standard for police computers. Smart Fires for firefighting scenarios. wasabi_ambulance for EMS with stretchers and a medical injury system. A well-implemented police script keeps roleplay quality high.
Economy & Business Management
QB-BossMenu and ESX Society handle gang/business management with shared accounts, employee management, and grade permissions. QB-Banking (or ESX Banking) provides full banking with ATMs, transfers, loans, and savings accounts. OKOK GasStation creates player-managed gas stations. For housing: QB-Housing or ESX Housing for property ownership with furniture placement and key management. For mechanic jobs: QB-MechanicJob. Start with core economy scripts before adding business-specific ones.
Anti-Cheat & Server Security
WaveShield is the enterprise-grade anti-cheat with cloud-based detection — recommended for serious servers with 32+ players. EasyAdmin is the free alternative with basic cheat detection and admin management. Badger's Anti-Cheat (BAC) is the community-vetted standard. Always run at least one anti-cheat. Configure auto-ban for confirmed cheats and auto-flag for suspicious behavior. Review flags weekly and tune detection thresholds to minimize false positives.
Quality-of-Life Essentials
InteractSound plays sounds via events (doorbells, alarms, notifications). Mythic Notify provides beautiful notification toasts. ProgressBars shows progress for actions (lockpicking, repairing, crafting). wasabi_minigame adds skill-check minigames. QB-Target or OX Target provides third-eye interaction. DrawText shows floating 3D text. These small scripts collectively differentiate a professional server from a hobby project. Install them before launching to the public.
